About Sweet Little Things

On a dark and stormy night, April 2012, the brainchild of Maggie was born in a suburb right between Cleveland and Akron, Ohio. After months of experiments, tinkering of formulations, tests on real-life human beings, some sugar, spice and everything nice...Sweet Little Things was brought to life!

Experimenting on new flavors is a joy and passion of mine, you name it, I will do my best to create it! Sweet Little Things is where I get to make creative, custom, gourmet sweets for dessert lovers in the Northeast Ohio area. I've had the amazing opportunity to bake for many weddings, birthdays and events.This year is the first time I'll be selling at the Countryside Conservancy Farmers Market, a dream I've had for a long time. It brings me such joy when I can make someone's day a little more special with desserts tailored just for them.

Why the name Sweet Little Things? All four of my cousins' girls were born within a year of each other, and they became my cupcake princesses, the face of Sweet Little Things. My tight-knit family volunteered to be my taste testers and pushed me to make this more than just a once-in-a-while hobby, along with an amazing best friend who helped make it real.

On this site you can find cupcake flavors, dessert prices and pictures of my work. You will also find a blog containing recipes with some more food creations of mine that I have been wanting to share since people are always asking. I want to help inspire people to get their hands dirty and get back into the kitchen, because despite what you think:
